I have tried so many different scenarios and currently itâs impossible for this to happen unless they create this feature. It would be much simpler to just have the native app automatically, after deleting or archiving an email, send us back to the whole list without selecting any particular email so that we can choose which one we want to go to and not have one marked as âreadâ if we donât want it to be. I have to then select to mark it âunreadâ and then go to the email I want, Which may be anywhere up or down on the list of emails. According to the changelog for Mailplane 2.0.7, developer uncomplex gmbh was able to fix an issue where a click on the Growl notification or an unread message opened a compose second window. If I donât want to look at that email yet and go to a different email, it marks that last one as âreadâ. Mailplane offers a straightforward way to manage Gmail, calendar, and contacts right from one spot. Having given a thorough look at what it has to offer, I must say that the email is fully equipped to be a safe bet. For a moment, the notification disappears on downloaded app, but it comes back quickly. The browser says it's three while downloaded app says it's two. Even though there doesn't seem to be any unread message, the badge won't go away. These unread notifications are not going away even after reading them twice. These past few days, the notification badge is persistent. 1) Close Mailplane 2) In Finder navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Mailplane (Option click GO menu then click Library) If you are.Instead it opens the next subsequent email. Yet another Apple Mail alternative that promises to be the best email client for macOS. These unread notifications are not going away even after reading them twice. and launch your calendar or Zoom/WebX easily without leaving the frame. Ultimately, for me, there are two main deal breakers why I donât use the native Apple mail app.Ä¡) It doesnât have a snoozed mail feature where the mail will come back to my inbox after a designated amount of time.Ä¢) After finishing an email by deleting it, archiving it, or whatever, it doesnât take me back to the full list of emails by default to then decide which one I want to look at next. Does not over come the limitation of more than 100 emails per view which is.
